Crazy Stupid Love Movie Review

Rated - PG-13
Released - 2011
Comedy, Drama, Romance
★★★★★★★✰✰✰

[source]

The story of the movie is about a guy, Cal, who's life is going perfectly wonderful until his wife, Emily, asks for a divorce, when he's at the bar figuring out what he's gonna do with his life, he meets a professional bachelor named Jacob who helps turn him into ladies man as well.
I was pleasantly surprised on how well this movie was, it is definitely a PG-13 movie but it was really good! It was quirky, and cute. Ryan Gosling was his classic charming self.
I like it, it was definitely worth the watch.

KinniKinnick Gluten Free Product Reviews

First off I'd just like to note on how incredibly generous and nice that KinniKinnick company is, they are so so so nice and sent me far more products to try than I ever thought they would! One of my first reviews and I got sent two boxes of things? How sweet is that?!?

These have ultimately been my favorite so far because I really missed my bread, lol.

I was so excited to try these, I had been obsessed with bagels before I found out I had to eat gluten free.
I'm not a big cinnamon raisin fan, so those ones didn't really 'appeal' to me, but the blueberry and plain weren't too bad. My main issue was the texture, I thought they tasted gritty/sandy :[

Blueberry

$5.99 a pack

Free of: Wheat, Nuts, Dairy, Soy, and Eggs.

Vegan

Contains: Sugar, Yeast, Potatoes

Plain

$5.99 a pack

Free of: Wheat, Nuts, Dairy, Soy, and Eggs.

Vegan

Contains: Sugar, Yeast, Potatoes

Cinnamon Raisin Bagels;

 $5.99 a pack

Free of: Wheat, Nuts, Dairy, Soy, and Eggs.

Vegan

Contains: Sugar, Yeast, Potatoes

Then I was also given two different kinds of breads:

Multi Grain

$4.99 a loaf.

Free of: Wheat, Dairy, Soy, and Nuts.

Contains: Yeast, Corn, Potato, Eggs, and Sugar

Plain White

$4.99 a loaf

Free of: Wheat, Dairy, Soy, and Nuts.

Contains: Yeast, Corn, Potato, Eggs, and Sugar

I looovveee these! It's so nice to have a bread to eat again.  I'm pretty sure I ate all of it in the form of toast, but that's okay!
I keep them up in the freezer so they don't get spoiled and I don't feel obligated to eat the whole loaf at once.

Udi's Gluten Free Product Review

I've heard so many wonderful things about Udi's and I was dying to try some of their stuff!
They gave me four different things to try out. Their Double Vanilla Muffins, Salted Caramel Cashew Cookies, Ancient Grains Granola Bars, and a package of their Mighty Bagels.

Double Vanilla Muffins

$6.00

These were pretty good, better than I imgained. I'm not a huge vanilla person but the flavoring of them was not overpowering at all, it tasted more like a hint of vanilla than it being vanilla flavored. They were a little dry to texture, and heavy/dense. But for not being a vanilla person, and not having very many vanilla muffins in my life, in fact I don't think I've ever had a vanilla muffin, those were the best vanilla muffins I've ever had.

Salted Caramel Cashew Cookies

 $5.50

These were very cool to try out. They weren't the greatest thing in the world. I think it was hard to wrap around my mind around the fact that a cookie could taste like salted cashews? Haha. The fact they could actually get a cookie to taste like that though, is amazing.

Sadly the packaging that the Mighty Bagels came in was torn up and I didn't want to take the risk of eating one but they smelled INCREDIBLE and looked really good.

Lastly the Ancient Grain Granola Bars

$5.50

These were really good, their packed with grains, dried fruits, and almonds. I loved them! Sadly, they didn't agree with my stomach though, they gave me an upset stomach, which really sucked for how good they were.

Crunchmater Gluten Free Review

I have recently tried out Crunchmaster's Gluten Free Crackers. And would love to share them with you!

I was given four different crackers to try out.

Cheezy Crisps

These are my all time favorite snack from them. Their just perfect! The flavoring on them is really good, and it's only 120 Calories for 60 crackers. Which I personally don't think is too bad. They're one of my favorite snacks.

Grammy Crisps

Now I'm not a cinnamon and sugar person, I didn't try these ones. My mom and brother did though. My brother said the more he eats of them the more he likes them and my mom wasn't too crazy about them.

Multi-Seed Crackers Original

These were the greatest, 'regular' flavor out of the bunch. They'd be wonderful with a dip or spread of some sort, my problem with them is that I couldn't get past the Brown Rice Flour flavor. Everything I've had that's had Brown Rice in it has given me an upset stomach. The Cheezy Crisps have them too but it didn't bother me as much. But the crackers were really good.

Multi-Seed Crackers, Rosemary & Olive Oil

I wanted to try these so bad because they reminded me of the Triscut's crackers. The flavoring of them is AMAZING but the Brown Rice Flour over powdered a lot of it and I couldn't eat that many of them in a sitting. They were incredible apart from that!

El's Gluten Free Snacks Review

  •  No gluten
  • No preservatives
  • No trans fats
  • No cholesterol
  • No fake colors
  • No fake flavors
  • No hydrogenated oil
  • No eggs

This is where my picky eating comes out.

Cheddar Melody:
I personally, wasn't a huge fan of them. The cheese flavoring wasn't the greatest, it didn't taste like flavored things that I was used to, nor was the garlic and herb.

Bagel Chips with a Hint of Sea Salt I believe was just a little too sweet for my taste. When I think of a bagel I don't really think of them as something sweet.
Granite, that's me and I'm a HUGE picky eater. I've heard of other people who've tried them and absolutely LOVED them.
I would love to try just a few other flavors to see what their like before I completely wipe them off my list.

If you would like to give them a go, HERE is there website!

What House am I In?!

About two days ago I was Googling a bunch of Harry Potter housing quizs, I wanted to know SO badly on what house I'd be placed in. You can say my inner nerd was seriously coming out.
I did about four different quizs, I wanted to see if they'd give me the same answer or what all would happen.
The first two tries I got good ole Hufflepuff

"Students belonging to this house are known to be hard-working, friendly, loyal, honest and rather impartial. It may be that due to their values, Hufflepuffs are not as competitive as the other houses, or are more modest about their accomplishments" - harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Hufflepuff

Which I'm completely cool with. I piratically always got Hufflepuff in the past. It's cool, except for the part I don't always really work well with others- but I can handle the friendly, loyal, honest, modest part of it.

Then next one I tried I got Ravenclaw.

"Members of this house are characterized by their wit, learning, and wisdom." - harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Ravenclaw

Which is great! [Apart from having Raven in the name, coming from a Steelers girl]

THEN. Lastly, I discovered Pottermore... I LOVE this website, it's like that Harry Potter for the Playstation and what not only for the computer and it's like a mystery game where you're given different scenes from the movie and you have to find different objects. You can dual and make potions and everything like that, which I haven't done yet, I just wanted to get sorted.
The site is run J.K.Rowling herself. She gives the history and writers thoughts and everything for all the characters and certain objects of stuff-it's really cool!
And she came up with the sorting questions, they're not your typical 'are you male or female?' 'what's your favorite color?' 'how old are you?' sorta questions, they were legit.
It was exciting...

Anyway. After a couple days of figuring everything out, I got sorted. And I was shocked by my house.

I got Gryffindor!

" The Gryffindor house emphasises the traits of courage as well as "daring, nerve, and chivalry," and thus its members are generally regarded as brave, though sometimes to the point of recklessness.  They can also be short-tempered." - harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Gryffindor

Can you believe it? Never in a million years have I ever thought I'd ever get Gryffindor!
Over the past few years I've really lost my courage/daring/brave are of myself, though my short-tempered-ness has really let itself go.
But I'm honored to be sorted into this group. After all Hermione Granger was in it, and she's incredible, character or not, she's very inspiring. If I could pick anyone to be, it would be her.

I just wanted to share my excitement with younse.

Have you taken the quiz?
What house were you sorted into?
Are you happy there?

Homemade Snickers Bars

To my surprise, everyone loved them. Because of the peanut butter I was afraid that no one would really like them but they absolutely loved em. My mom put half of them individually wrapped into the freezer and ate them frozen.
Fair warning though, the caramel is really tough, we used the Rite Aid brand and, so. Just saying.

What you'll need;

Bottom Chocolate Layer:
  • 1¼ cups milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
 Nougat Layer:
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup evaporated milk
  • 1½ cups marshmallow fluff
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 1½ cup salted peanuts chopped, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
 Caramel Layer:
  • 1 14-ounce bag of caramels
  • ¼ cup whipping cream

 Top Chocolate Layer:
  • 1¼ cups milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup peanut butter

First, for the bottom layer, melt the peanut butter and chocolate chips together. I did fifteen seconds at a time in the microwave and stirred making sure it wouldn't burn or anything. Then spread it out evenly. And let cool until moving onto the next layer.

For the nougat layer, melt butter over medium heat in a sauce pan, add in sugar and milk till it's dissolved and bring to a boil, let it boil for 5mins stirring occasionally. Add fluff, vanilla, and peanut butter and mix till it's all nice an smooth, take off the heat and mix in the chopped up peanuts and pour over the chocolate letting it cool.

For the caramel, I just melt everything in the microwave again and stirred every 15 seconds. Again, pour over the nougat and let cool

Pour over the last layer of chocolate and peanut butter, let cool, and you're set to go!
Enjoy[:

Birthday!!!

Last week was wonderful! I had my birthday and I did spend the day mostly alone but that weekend was my party. Just immediate family, we had pizza in place of cake and ice cream(being I don't eat them) and I had potato wedges as my 'special meal'. What can I say? That's all I wanted.

To be honest though. I still feel the same as I did a year ago. But now I have that whole 'it's time to grow up' feeling, which is nice in one way, but crappy in another. Oh well. Happy Birthday to me!
