Two boys Neckbone and Ellis sneak out one night and take their boat up the Mississippi River where they find a boat in a tree, they stop at the island to investigate, when they come back to their boat they discover a foot print and meet Mud, a guy who they decide to help get off the island.
This is a great movie! The main reason I wanted to see it is because of Matthew McConaughey. It's not something I'd really watch knowing the plot of it, but I'm glad I did, it was well worth it, and I'll surely be watching it again sometime!
