Wreck-It Ralph Movie Review

Rated - PG
Released 2012
Animation, Adventure, Comedy
★★★★★★★★★★

This is absolutely one of the cutest movies I've ever seen. Ralph is the 'bad guy' of the video game world, hence the name 'wreck-it'.  He decides one day that he's tired of being the bad guy and wants to be a good guy. So, he finds out that he can become the good guy if he wins a medal, can't be too hard, right? He sneaks into the other game world and soon wrecks everything upon meeting a 'glitch' Vanellope von Schweetz, aka, his only hope.
It's super cute! I love how they have it in the video game setting. It was definitely a lot better than I had expected it to be and I suggest everyone watches it, there's no way you can't smile during it.

Playing For Keeps Movie Review

Rated- PG-13
Released 2012
Comedy, Romance, Sport
★★★★★★✰✰✰✰

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this movie. I accidentally clicked on it on Netflix and just decided to go for it. At first, it is kinda slow but it picks up after a little while.
It's about a former soccer player who's divorced and starts to coach his sons soccer team in a way to pull himself out of hard times while a bunch of soccer moms are swooning at his every word, because of the accent, of course.
I liked it, it's not too shabby. I'd watch it again, I like the bits of quirkyness going on through-out it and how he decides to be a better father. There's really nothing bad to say about it nor good--It's Cute! But I would suggest others to watch it, who knows? It may become your favorite!

Here's a trailer for it:

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Movie Review

Released - 2005
Rated PG
Comedy, Drama
★★★★★★★✰✰✰

This is a story of four girls who grew up together since they were born. One summer they find a pair of jeans that fit all of their different body-sizes and shapes and they decide to send the pants to each other while they're all away for the summer doing their own thing. It's one of their ways of staying in touch.

Overall, it's a good movie, an old friend of mine LOVED this movie to death, I'm not too big on it. But it is good. I know a lot of reviews that I've read people really like it and have cried over it.
And I suggest everyone to give it a shot and watch it.

Gluten Free Double Blueberry Muffins

These are wonderful!! I made them twice, one Gluten Free and the other regular so the rest of my family could have some too. They. Are. Amazing. Nuff said. They're dense, sweet, and just flat out yummy.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1 stick of butter. softened
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 2tsp baking powder
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 cup of frozen/fresh blueberries -I used mixed berries-
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups of gluten free flour(same amount if making non-gf)
Cream butter till smooth, add sugar and beat together, then add eggs, vanilla, baking powder and salt. Smash 3/4cups of berries in a seperate bowls then add to mix and stir till combined(I personally just added them, the mixed I used smashed them up some anyway). Then add the milk and half a cup of flour, mix, and do the same with remaining flour. Lastly fold in your berries.
Spray/line a muffin pan fill each cup 3/4 the way full-you can also add a topping of 2tbsp sugar and 1/4tsp of cinnamon if you'd like-and bake at 375 for 25-30mins and poke with a toothpick till it comes out clean.
Enjoy[:

A Cinderella Story Movie Review

Released - 2004
Rated PG
Comedy, Family, Romance
★★★★★★★★★★

This is a super cute movie that a girl, Sam Montgomery, who's parents are no longer around and is left in the care of her wicked stepmother and has found herself a boy, the problem? They've never met, they only talk over the internet or through texting and they meet up at the school Halloween dance.
I love this movie, it's quirky and is just one that never gets old to me, lol.

Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

These, are, so cool. And super easy to make! They took absolutely no time at all. My dad is a HUGE fan of mint chocolate chip so I really wanted to try these out and everyone loved them, my mom liked them too and she isn't a fan of mint chocolate chip stuff.

What you'll need;

  • 1 pkg.(pouch) Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract
  • Chocolate chips
  • 6-8 drops of green food coloring
  • 1/2 cup of butter.

Mix everything but the chocolate chips together until combined, then add chocolate chips to your liking.

At 350 on an ungreased baking sheet bake for 8-10mins. And Presto! You have a mint chocolate chip cookie.

The Croods Movie Review

Rated - PG
Released 2013
Animation, Adventure, Comedy
★★★★★★★★★★

AMAZING. I LOVE this movie. Dreamworks is just incredible. It's about a family of cavemen who live in a cave and their father is super protective over them, he makes them avoid anything that could could lead to death until one day, Eep sneaks out of the cave into the dark after seeing a yellow moving light, and she follows to where she saw it leading and runs into a boy named Guy who shows her fire, something she's never seen before.
Grug, the father, apart from the overly protectiveness, is an incredible father, always putting his family first and tried his best to make them happy. He soon makes up his mind to not be afraid anymore and to live.
It's a super cute, funny, light hearted, feel-good movie. I highly suggest everyone to go give it a shot and watch it.
It. Is. Amazing.
