Tis The Season To Be Haulin'

Fa la la la la...

Too early? I think not[; It's NOVEMBER ALREADY! I say it's legal to enjoy gingerbread cookies and Christmas candy even if Thanksgiving is in the middle of it, lol.

I said in my last life post that I might do a post on the haul I got, here it is.
This definitely isn't an 'all the time' kind of haul. I haven't been shopping in like two years, and I was supossed to get stuff I needed not the stuff I wanted. Oopsies... that didn't happen, lol.
Either way, this was a haul over the past few months. When i get the stuff I actually need I might put it in a post.

The first place was Micheal's craft store. They had a paint for $5 and the brushes were $10 but my mom gave me one of her coupons making it $10 all together[: I like painting, and it's something I've been wanting to dabble in a little further, so I thought I'd get the legit supplies to do so, lol.

Next was Target, where I got The Perks of Being A Wallflower, I watched movie first(don't yell at me!!) and LOVED it, so I figured the book would be better, if not just as good. Then Barnes & Noble(the first trip) I got The Maze Runner, I wanted to see it in theater but that didn't happen so I figured I'd read the book first and do it the right way x] Then the second trip I had originally went to get The Fault In Our Stars book and shirt, didn't happen, I ended up debating heavily over it and Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, went with Harry Potter because I was craving to read it, and I also got Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Other Classic Works by Lewis Carroll, I've ever read Alice in Wonderland, but love the movie, and the giant book was on sale for $8, holla! Ad I also got The Host, haven't read it either, or seen the movie, but it's been on the list.
THEN we went to JCPenney and I got the purple shorts, which I believe were $30 originally and got them for $1.75, now I have a pair for next summer. Then Gabriel Brothers, and found a pair of fair isle leggings that I've wanted since last year! THEN KMart and I got The Fault In Our Stars, it was a few dollars cheaper than B&N but I also found more books that are on my list *sigh* first world problems.

Next was Dollar Tree, I wanted to get some stuff for Christmas and opted out last minute apart from a few things and found these. Utterly Smooth Hand Lotion, gotta love the cold weather and hand washing causing dry hands -.-
I also got two things for my hope chest, Scrubbies, and sponges. Of course I had to get a few things for Chestnut so I got Gravy Train treats that I can use for training(the treats are made in CA), and doggie bags, the ones I had for Peaches and Benji have been outside hanging on her leash on the kennel for the past two years, so I think their dead. And a harness. I really want a Cesar Millan harness, but I haven't found on in her size, and because she's a puppy I can't fathum spending $20 on a harness she's gonna grow out of in a few months, and all the toy dog harnesses look like their made out of ribbon, a toy dogs harness won't work for a medium sized dogs puppy. No no, so I got her one there to test it out, I'm a little leery of it though.

And lastly, Rite Aid. They were having BOGO Free on Sam Mills products, I also had gotten chips and their Vanilla and Vanilla Cream cookies but I forgot to add them in (plus I ate one of the boxes of cookies, we have to go back for the other boxes because they didn't have enough in stock). And I got a thing of Jelly Beans because I haven't had them in a while and was craving them. Such a sweet tooth lately :[

Have you guys gotten any great deals on anything? Have you done any Christmas shopping?

Puppy Kisses and Shopping Till I Drop!

Hello all!

I believe it's been a while since I've done any somewhat decent life catch up. So I thought this would be the perfect time to.

On Wednesday I wore pink- Just kidding! I did some puppy sitting for my Grandma, I think she was getting a little burnt out on caring for a puppy so I took Chestnut for the morning to give Grandma some me-time. She seemed pretty thankful about it.
[When my mom had stopped over at my Grandma's house later on she said Chestnut was like a two year old fighting to go to sleep, when her eyes would start to close, she would jolt awake and look for something to do.]

Isn't she just the cutest??

She didn't do as bad as I thought she would. I had puppy say before and the one puppy was a very lively puppy so to speak, he loved putting stuff in his mouth and wasn't up for cuddling. Chestnut is good at knowing when you're busy and minding her own. She likes to know what's going on, and she's very alert of everything, she doesn't like being far away. But she can also go lay down and not be tearing through the house and getting into things.
Which is hard to really grasp because she's a puppy, well, 14 weeks, but you know what I mean.

I wanted to do some sort of DIY while I had her over here. So I made dog treats. Don't you just love having a dog? I can do this stuff again. It's like a breath of fresh air.

And I'm so pleased to say I made MY OWN RECIPE. I'm so tickled. I found one and used it as a guide and did my own thing with it when it didn't turn out the way I had originally planned.
AND SHE LOVES THEM! Peaches wasn't a fan of any dry treat. We were lucky she ate dry dog food let alone dry treats. I can't believe she ate it. Oh but I'm still so happy! And they smelled AMAZING baking in the oven!

After that, on Thursday we went Christmas shopping. That was a bit of a rough day, had a rough start that morning, My sleeping has been really bad, I wasn't really up for the day mentally, but plugged on along. I've been trying  to get all my Christmas shopping done. I have ONE GIFT LEFT to get, I'm literally so excited though! I wanted to get it all done and finished before it got too hectic in stores. Me + A Ton of People = No bueno. [if I knew how to say 'at all' in Spanish I'd add that on too]. So the past two weeks my mom has been so kind to drive me places and pick stuff out. I also did my own shopping because I haven't been shopping in two years. No seriously. Two years. And I'm pretty sure I bought everything except the stuff I actually needed. I'm kicking myself for it now.
Live and learn.
I'm telling myself it's okay though because it wasn't stupid stuff. It was money well spent......just not on the stuff I actually needed, importance wise. Like jeans that actually fit. Kicking myself again.
Maybe I'll do a blog post about it all-a blog haul!

I didn't eat breakfast because of my stomach being a butt again. So around lunch time I had my breakfast, I didn't know what I wanted, I'm not big on fast-food stuff. Apart from Chick-fil-a, but Chick-fil-a doesn't seem to be agreeing with my body. So instead we made a stop at Giant Eagle, my mom told me about this tea, it was pretty good, different, but good. I thought it had a mint/mentholy taste but there's no mint-like thing in it for it to do that, so I'm guessing it's the tea? But white tea isn't something I drink all that much, in fact, I think this is the second time I've had it after that Inko's tea or whatever that was called(it's pretty late right now, sorry x] )
ANYWAY it was good-and no funky ingredients. My favorite kind of drinks.

And a Cranberry Almond KIND bar. I love KIND, love, love, love!!! My favorite Bar from them so far that I've tried is the Blueberry Vanilla & Cashew, it reminds me of a muffin for some reason. Maybe it's because I automatically put blueberries and muffins together in my mind. Who doesn't love blueberry muffins?
She had also picked up another flavor that I haven't tried before, so maybe I'll do a review or something on it[: I'm saving it for another day in case we go out again. Which probably will be soon!

Again, no funky ingredients.

Disney Challenge: Day 2

Favorite princess?

Cinderella[:  I liked Rapunzel too, but Cinderella is my absolute favorite.

Puppy Walks

Chestnut hasn't been doing too awful bad on the leash. I've handled younger dogs before who've wanted nothing more than to chew on the leash while they walk, it was so annoying. Chestnut seems to be doing pretty good, she'll do it a little bit in the beginning and once we get walking, she so fascinated with everything else that she doesn't chew. She's coming along!

She has a thing for my hair though...

Disney Challenge: Day 1

This was a very 'impulsive' decision on whether or not to do another challenge. BUT THEY'RE SO FUN.  I also like knowing that I will have something to post the following day...or 29. But, I hope you guys will enjoy this challenge too.

What's your favorite movie?

Peter! Peter Pan!

I don't know what it is about this movie, but I absolutely love it.
