I might just be pushing my limits here, than again, maybe not.
So far these are the books I'm wanting to read. There was more that I wanted to add to it but I don't wanna overwhelm myself with the thought of having to read five million different books in a little bit of time.

The box by the way has three different books in it, It's a Sarah Dessen set and as soon as this internet will get it's stuff together and work right, there will be a review up about it.
Until then.

2. City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
3. Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
4. Under The Dome by Stephen King
5. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

7. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

I've Got Sunshine On A Cloudy Day...

This past weekend has been pretty lovely. I've finally got a  tan going which may or may not have came from a sun burn. I'm known for having really bad sunburns, seriously. It happens every year for the past four or five years. BUT so far this year, it hasn't happened (I'm grinning pretty big right now).
Apart from that, this past weekend has been spent with my dad, which is also lovely. Mom went away for a college trip (I miss you mom!!). Me and Dad got to spend time together, watching tv and sharing iTunes music.

Anywho. I wanted to share some of my favorites. I've been thinking that I should do this more often because a blog is like a journal, right? I can share favorites.
At least most of them.

Cheese & Pretzels. YUMM! This has been my 'go to' breakfast lately. Heaven. Seriously.

The sun. Of course. We had a pretty harsh winter so the sun has been such a nice treat.
(Thank you, Lord!)

Netflix. Of course. But more specifically Melissa & Joey. I LOVE this show. Gah! It's perfect. Funny, cute, funny...funny! I've watched the seasons like 3 times through and I'm gonna watch it again. Thank. You. Very. Much.

There's also another show called Rewrapped, it's not on Netflix though, I think it's new. Joey Fatone is the host of it.  AMAZING.

Junk food. This is bad. I've developed a sweet tooth from cookies, chips, and ginger ale (yay upset stomach [I mean the ginger ale for that, not the cookies or chips {don't worry}]).
But I'm working on getting rid of it. I'm not allowing myself to have any more junk, apart from ginger ale, but only during an upset stomach.
I haven't had chips in a LONG time, like years. Until I had a bag of Baked Herr's chips and it just plummeted from there. But I quickly noticed how I felt like crap being all bloated and feeling like I'd just ate two greasy cheese burgers, Blah!
Kicking that one in the butt!

Oh! And gardening! My mom's a gardener and this year I decided to get back to my old ways and plant some seeds and their coming along great. I can't wait to eat some watermelon and cantaloupes.
We've done a lot of planting though. Last weekend I helped my mom plants some flowers and tomatoes, which the rabbits decided to eat -.- Mom said she's gonna get some onions to put around the next set we put it.
Can't wait!

Currently this is all my favorites. What're yours?

Rhubarb Cinnamon Rolls

My mom has two rhubarb plants that grew quite quickly in the garden and what better to do than bake with it?
There's a bunch of different varieties of rhubarb so you can use whichever you prefer, the one my mom has is all green[sorry, I don't know the exact name of it], but my great-pappap used to grow one that was a deep red color in my grandparents garden. I can remember being little and we'd always go down and take a few stalks and eat it. So yummy!
I haven't tried this variety of rhubarb but my mom and grandparents really liked these, and hopefully you will too!

What you'll need;

Sauce

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 cup water
1/6 cup of butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Dough

2 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 tbsp softened butter
3/4 cup milk

Filling

2 tbsp softened butter
2 cups chopped fresh/frozen rhubarb
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Starting with the sauce.
Please be careful because this is going to be really hot, try not to splash it on yourself. Add the sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and water into a sauce pan and heat it over medium heat, stirring it in. add butter, melt in. Bring to a boil and let continue to boil for a minute, turn off and remove from heat, add vanilla.
This should thicken up to a syrup-like consistency when it cools.

Preheat the oven to 350. In a medium sized bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt

cut in the butter and then add milk stirring quickly. You might have to knead it to get it all to stick together.

On a floured surface roll out the dough to a 9 inch by 12 inch rectangle and spread on the spoftened 2 tablespoons of butter, add chopped rhubarb and sprinkle on sugar/cinnamon mixture.

Tip; If there is anything I've learned from watching cooking/baking videos, when it comes to rolling something, use your finger tips because their not as hot as the palm of your hands.

Use your fingers to roll it up from the long side and then seal it off, it also helps to seal off the ends too, putting the seam part down. Another tip; grease your knife, it helps cut through the dough easier without having to deal with the hassle of everything sticking to it.

Cut the roll in half, you should be able to get a total of 6 rolls from each half.
Add them into a greased dish and pour over the sauce.

Another tip; Fill the pot that had sauce in it with some warm water and let it sit, it'll practically clean itself, trust me, add the water.

Bake for 35 - 40mins until nice and golden.

Enjoy!

Sprouting Spring!

Today has been such a great day! Laundry's done, Ginger's cage is cleaned, it's sunny and warm outside!

It's been a much needed day.

Yesterday me and my mom went out for a walk and when we came back I found this going on

Do you see that!?!?! My cucumber seeds are sprouting! Aaahh I'm so excited!
None of the others have sprouted yet, it's been really rainy and not a lot of sunshine but today it's been really warm and sunny so hopefully they'll sprout a bit.

This little lady has also been chilling out, she's had a nest right outside our front door for probably a few weeks now, I'd imagine the eggs would be hatching soon, can't wait to see the little chicks!
I accidentally scared her when getting the mail :[

Clementines & Movies

Today hasn't been the most exciting day. I did get in a smidge of working out though. This whole week I've been so unmotivated to do anything it's terrible. I decided to make myself do stretches, so that way I'd have something remotely productive in, and once I was done stretching I was motivated to do some working out. Suits me quite well[:

After my workout was done I had a clementine to hold me over until lunch, completely obsessed with these little fruits! Delicious!

What better to do next than watch The Incredibles and journal?!
